Dr. Joel D. Worden
Assistant Professor

Before beginning his teaching career at
Goldey-Beacom in 2005, Dr. Worden earned a
Ph.D. from the University of Delaware for
his work on portrayals of the Galapagos
Islands in American fiction. He currently
teaches writing, presentation, debate, and
humanities courses. His research interests
include effective communication skills and
