ACC Lab Assistants  

The ACC provides laboratory assistants who are on duty at all times while the lab is open.

The lab assistant WILL:

  • Answer questions relating to:
    • Location/interpretation of documentation
    • Logon procedures
    • Operating system commands
  • Assist with hardware and software problems
  • Help to interpret error messages.
  • Suggest ways to identify programming mistakes.
  • Help remedy disk errors and difficulties with equipment

The lab assistant WILL NOT:

  • Design, write, debug, or do programs or projects for students
  • Answer multiple "how do I" questions

  • ("How do I do this?", then "How do I do this, then?")
