John Vogelmann

John Vogelmann has over 30 years of
Marketing Management experience in Financial
Services in senior roles with leading North
American banks and as an International
Industry Consultant. During his career John
has been responsible for building new
businesses, developing successful strategic
plans and quickly growing highly profitable
Divisions that today serve millions of
satisfied customers. John's background
includes responsibility for marketing,
sales, strategic planning, product
development, database marketing and
partnership marketing in both commercial and
consumer finance.
Today, John is a Consultant and an Adjunct
Faculty who teaches Graduate and
Undergraduate Marketing and Management
courses at several Colleges in Delaware.
During his 10 years at MBNA America, John
was responsible for growing the Business
Products Division into one of the largest
and most profitable in the industry and
introduced the first Platinum Business
Credit Card. He also started and managed
Database Marketing where he successfully
implemented modeling, analysis and CRM
programs across all areas of the bank. While
growing MBNA's Consumer Finance division
into a highly profitable business, John
introduced the Industry's first Balance
Transfer program. During his 15 years at
CitiGroup Financial, John was responsible
for the rapid and profitable growth of
several new businesses including Real Estate
Services, Consumer Lending and Home Equity.
