Each year alumni, employees, and friends of the College give generously to support the GBC Annual Fund. All proceeds from the Annual Fund provide badly needed scholarships for deserving but needy students. Every gift - no matter what size - does make a difference. Combining your gift with many others helps open the doors to education for a talented student. Even the most modest gifts add up to make a real difference, especially when you remember to give every year as part of your charitable giving plan. Many donors making large gifts to capital campaigns or endowments continue to send a gift to the Annual Fund, recognizing how important this can be.

It is also important to remember that a high level of support from those closest to Goldey-Beacom College is necessary to attract gifts from foundations, corporations, and other sources. Often, the first question foundations ask of the College is what level of support we receive from alumni and friends of the College.

The Annual Fund drive begins in August of each year and ends in May. All donors are recognized in the Spring edition of the alumni newspaper, Reflections, unless they request anonymity. Each donor is identified by Giving Club:

You can make your gift to the Annual Fund in a number of ways, including using the online gift form. See Sending Your Gift for ways to pledge, use a credit card, or make an outright gift. All gifts will be acknowledged in writing and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Remember that you might double or even triple your gift if you or your spouse works for a company with a matching gift program. See Matching Gifts for more information.
