DELAWARE BETA CHAPTER - MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Membership in Alpha Chi is reserved for college juniors and seniors or graduate
students who rank in the upper ten percent of their classes. Students are recommended
for membership based on their records of scholarship, service, and character.
In accordance with the organization's bylaws, a member in good standing is
expected to maintain a high grade point average, be of good character, pay annual
dues, attend at least half of the four to six meetings held each year if possible,
and serve on a committee or participate in an Alpha Chi service project.
Alpha Chi members are recognized at graduation by wearing a gold tassel, having
a gold AX seal affixed to their diplomas, and having the Alpha Chi symbol placed
next to their name in the graduation program.
