Payment Methods
All payments are due by the 15th of
the month. The College utilizes ECSI for the processing of its Perkins
Loan payments. The following payment methods can be used for making
Perkins Loans
payments:
- mail check to ECSI, 181 Montour Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108-9408
- provide direct debit information for automatic payment to ECSI
- set up pre-authorized credit/debit card with the ECSI
- walk in with cash, check or credit/debit card to the College
Rehabilitation of a Defaulted Perkins Loan
- A borrower may rehabilitate a
defaulted loan only one time.
- A loan is rehabilitated if the borrower
makes nine (9) on-time monthly payments for nine (9) consecutive
months and the rehabilitation is requested by the borrower.
- Within 30 days of receiving the
borrower's last on-time, consecutive monthly payment
- The borrower will be returned to
regular on-time repayment status.
- The borrower's negative credit will be
removed from their credit history.
- The first payment made under the nine
(9) consecutive payments will be considered the first payment under the
new ten (10) year repayment schedule.
