September 10 Leadership Profile and Recruitment Strategy

W/K submits draft leadership profile and suggested advertising options for input/approval.

GBC completes background portion of leadership profile.

September 14 Leadership Profile Finalized Revisions of the leadership profile due back to W/K.
Mid September until Mid December Recruitment and Candidate Evaluation

Aggressive national recruitment targets potential candidates.

W/K interviews of most qualified candidates.

Week of December 3 Search Committee Meeting Update search committee meeting.
Week of December 10 Candidate Materials Post candidate materials to portal.
Week of December 17 Candidate Review W/K meets with the search committee to review candidates and identify semi-finalists for interviews.
Mid-January Semi-finalist Interviews First round interviews and selection of finalist(s) for second round interviews; credentials verified.
Early February Finalist Interviews Finalist interviews; candidate of choice identified from this round of interviews and negotiations commence.
Late February Finalist Selection and Negotiations Final search committee meeting to share feedback.
Late February/Early March Search Conclusion

Hiring authority and/or W/K makes offer, contingent on financial and criminal background check

Final candidate accepts offer; appointment announced; W/K supports smooth transition.
