I love Goldey-Beacom because of the supportive and encouraging environment. It didn’t take long for it to feel like home, like having a huge family right here in Delaware.

First-Time Freshmen Admissions

Every application is reviewed individually to determine strengths and potential for academic and career success. The admission evaluation considers a number of factors including cumulative grade point average, test scores, and class rank, but recent academic improvement, life challenges, and strong motivation are also considered.

Freshmen Undergraduate Admissions Requirements:

    • An official high school transcript, home school completion certificate, or Graduate Equivalency Diploma (GED) and any college transcripts

    • Optional: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or ACT results*

* We encourage all applicants to submit SAT/ACT scores when they are able. SAT ACT scores may help increase your merit scholarship award, but students who choose to not submit scores are evaluated for scholarship based on high school GPA.
