The Academic Excellence Center

The Academic Excellence Center, located in the Hirons Library in the Jones Center, enhances the learning experience of Goldey-Beacom College students by providing learning support and tutoring for students, primarily in first and second year courses, including Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Humanities, and English.

Currently, appointments for tutoring must be made in advance by emailing aec@gbc.edu. Please include your name, phone number, the subject or issue you need help with, and the times you are available.

The Academic Excellence Center also supports college faculty by providing a professionally monitored environment for students to complete proctored make-up exams and learning support. Faculty seeking to arrange proctored make-up exams in the Academic Excellence Center should contact Kevin Hunt, Director of Academic Support Services, at huntk@gbc.edu.
