The Associate of Arts program in General Studies at Goldey-Beacom College provides foundational knowledge in areas such as English, humanities, social sciences, and information technology. Students will develop skills in reading, writing, research, problem solving, and computer literacy. The program is designed to allow students to transfer seamlessly into the College’s bachelor’s degree programs; therefore, the course of study provides options and electives that allow students to closely follow the course of study required for the first two years in the bachelor’s program they wish to pursue upon completion of the associate degree.
