Gather in the Event Center for the 2025 Convocation Ceremony to hear the President’s message to the Class of 2029. There will also be a presentation of the President’s Service Award.
The Unity Walk and barbecue will take place immediately following the ceremony with entertainment provided on the quad.
Preston James Russell is a proud alumnus of Goldey-Beacom College, where he earned four degrees: an Associate’s in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s in Finance, and dual Master’s degrees in Marketing and Management. He has combined this strong academic foundation with over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry to build a successful portfolio of businesses at the Delaware beaches.
Preston is the owner of Zava Cafe, LAGO Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar, and Changing Mains Food Trucks. As both a realtor and restaurateur, he is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can gather and connect over great food. His work reflects a deep commitment to community, hospitality, and entrepreneurship.
When he’s not at one of his restaurants, Preston enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
