Wilmington, DE – Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) is pleased to announce its second annual Convocation on Friday, August 19, 2022. Beginning at 11:00 a.m. students, faculty, trustees, elected officials and community guests will gather to kick-off the 2022-2023 academic year.
Preceded by a bagpipes processional, President Colleen Perry Keith will address attendees with College updates, future plans and what to expect during the upcoming academic cycle.

Other highlights will include a Lightning Unity Walk followed by a GBC Community BBQ. Franta Hall, the newest residence hall, will be open for tours along with the Joseph West Jones Center which will showcase the recently expanded Dining Hall and Department of Athletics.
Founded in 1886, Goldey-Beacom College has approximately 1,300 students enrolled from 22 states and 65 nations. The College offers 42 degree options in its graduate and undergraduate programs with majors in psychology, economics, criminal justice, communication & media, human services, English, and all areas of business, including accounting, business administration, entrepreneurship, and finance.
The College is accepting students into two new degree programs in fall 2022: B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies; B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics. Both were approved in March 2022 by the Delaware Department of Education. In fall 2023, the College plans to offer two additional degrees: Bachelor of Science in Marketing; Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Digital Marketing.
The College is committed to connecting its graduates with careers in their respective fields. For over a decade, the College has achieved a 90% placement rate for graduates. Goldey-Beacom College is located in Pike Creek Valley, a suburb of Wilmington, Delaware. The College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
