Typically, there are two official College documents that some foreign countries require the Secretary of State’s Apostille or Certification: A diploma and/or an Official Transcript. Below is information that explains the Apostille Process for the State of Delaware, and the role the Registrar’s Office plays.

  1. The student needs to request the official documents from the Registrar’s Office, unless they are in possession of the documents.
  2. Mail the following to the Delaware State Department via FedEx or UPS, or certified US Mail:
    • A check/money order in the amount of $30 for each document requiring an Apostille made payable to the Delaware Secretary of State.
    • The official documents requiring an Apostille.
    • A completed cover letter.
    • A prepaid return label via FedEx, UPS, or Certified Mail.
