  Maintenance Custodian
   

Goldey-Beacom College is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Custodian. This is a 40 hour per week position with possible evenings and weekend coverage required. Principal job duties include, but are not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning classrooms, vacuuming or steam-cleaning furniture, sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming hallways, emptying and cleaning ash trays and cigarette receptacles, cleaning windows, sweeping and mopping stairs, wiping down walls, and cleaning and sanitizing restrooms in accordance with established practices and procedures. During inclement weather, candidate must be able to report to campus to clear walkways of snow and clean up during snow storms. Candidates must have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds daily or when needed. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in computers with knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications and strong communication abilities, including excellent writing skills. A high school diploma is required and custodian experience is preferred.   Security Officer (Part Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College is accepting applications for part-time Security Officer positions.  Shifts include day, evening, and overnight hours.  Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driverís license. Candidates must have the ability to make rounds by foot consistently during the shift and lift at least 35 pounds when needed.  Applicants are expected to have a strong background in computers with knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications and strong communication abilities, including excellent writing skills.  A high school diploma is required and security experience is preferred.  Current Goldey-Beacom College students are ineligible for the position and need not apply.  Training and uniforms are provided.  Interested applicants should send a resume, letter of application, and a completed GBC Employment Application  to Michael DiEleuterio, Coordinator of Security, Goldey-Beacom College, dieleum@gbc.edu.
