  Compliance Specialist (Full Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applicants for a full-time Compliance Specialist. Goldey-Beacom College is an NCAA Division II program with 10 intercollegiate teams, and is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.  

The successful candidate will have a commitment to NCAA Division II “Life in the Balance” philosophy.  The candidate will assist with the overall organization and management of the Goldey-Beacom College athletic program in accordance with College, CACC and NCAA policies, rules and regulations.  Duties include, but are not limited to, serving as primary compliance contact, performing administrative responsibilities, maintaining student-athlete academic records, and interacting and educating coaches and athletic staff.   The candidate will also serve the SAAC Liaison. A Bachelor’s degree is required and NCAA Compliance experience is preferred.  Excellent computer and communication skills, including excellent writing skills, are required as well as a strong background in customer service.

  Coordinator of External Affairs (Full Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College is accepting applications for a full-time Coordinator of External Affairs position.  The holder of this staff position will be responsible for planning, organizing, and successfully conducting all fund raising activities of the College, including annual fund, major gifts, endowment, planned giving, and capital campaigns.  He/she will further be responsible for building a strong alumni base and fostering their strong rapport with the College, developing and overseeing media and public relations, and other duties as assigned by the President.  Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of five years’ experience in the major aspects of fundraising, donor cultivation, and alumni relations, and have a strong background in computers with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook applications and strong communication abilities, including excellent writing skills.  In addition to regular work hours Monday through Friday, occasional evenings and weekends duties will be required.  Interested candidates should send a resume, letter of application, and completed GBC employment application to Dr. Gary L.   Head Women's Volleyball Coach (Part Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applicants for a part-time Head Women’s Volleyball Coach position. Goldey-Beacom College is an NCAA Division II program with 10 intercollegiate teams, and is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.  

The candidate should possess the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to work within the assigned duties of the Women’s Volleyball program. Attendance at practice sessions and availability for all competition dates is a high priority. This is a part-time position which requires organization and supervision of all aspects of the Volleyball program including, but not limited to:

  • Recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success and the ability to relate to those student-athletes.
  • Compliance with NCAA, Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and Goldey-Beacom College rules and regulations.
  • Practice planning and strength and conditioning coordination.
  • Fundraising and community engagement.

  Security Officer (Part Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College is accepting applications for part-time Security Officer positions.  Shifts include day, evening, and overnight hours.  Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license. Candidates must have the ability to make rounds by foot consistently during the shift and lift at least 35 pounds when needed.  Applicants are expected to have a strong background in computers with knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications and strong communication abilities, including excellent writing skills.  A high school diploma is required and security experience is preferred.  Current Goldey-Beacom College students are ineligible for the position and need not apply.  Training and uniforms are provided.  Interested applicants should send a resume, letter of application, and a completed GBC Employment Application  to Michael DiEleuterio, Coordinator of Security, Goldey-Beacom College, dieleum@gbc.edu.

   
  Systems Administrator (Full Time)
   

Founded in 1886, Goldey-Beacom College is a private four-year college located in beautiful Pike Creek Valley, Delaware.  The College is looking for a qualified, motivated and dedicated individual to bring his/her talents and work with an amazing team as a full-time Systems Administrator.  Candidates who have strong backgrounds in Windows System Administration with focus on Active Directory including GPO’s and are comfortable with Cisco networking gear are encouraged to apply for this opportunity to be part of the team!  A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science field, two to four years of experience in the major aspects of the Windows server environment, Cisco networking, a strong background in technology, knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong communication abilities are required. Microsoft and Cisco certifications are preferred.
