  Head Cross Country Coach (Part Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applicants for a part-time Head Menís and Womenís Cross Country Coach position. Goldey-Beacom College is an NCAA Division II program with 10 intercollegiate teams, and is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

The candidate should possess the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to work within the assigned duties of the Cross Country program. Attendance at practice sessions and availability for all competition dates is a high priority. This is a part time position which requires organization and supervision of all aspects of the Cross Country program including, but not limited to:

  • Recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success and the ability to relate to those student-athletes.
  • Compliance with NCAA, Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and Goldey-Beacom College rules and regulations.
  • Practice planning and strength and conditioning coordination.
  • Fundraising and community engagement.
Qualifications:
A Bachelorís degree is required and two years of successful coaching experience or collegiate level competition is preferred.  Excellent computer and communication skills and a student-focused approach are required.
