  Business Office Clerk (Part Time)
    Goldey-Beacom College is accepting applications for a part-time Business Office Clerk position.  The position is no more than 20 hours per week; Saturday and evenings coverage is required.  Duties include telephone management, data entry, receipting, and assisting students.  Applicants should possess good organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance, and personable demeanor.  Applicants are expected to have a strong background in computers with knowledge is Word, Excel, and Outlook applications and strong communication abilities, including excellent writing skills.  An Associate’s Degree in a business-related field is preferred and experience in bookkeeping/accounting and in handling sensitive information is required.  Interested applicants should send a resume, letter of application, and a completed GBC Employment Application to Susan Mannering, Controller, Goldey-Beacom College, 4701 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, or to manners@gbc.edu.  Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.
     
  Librarian (Part Time)
    Goldey-Beacom College is seeking a motivated candidate to join the Library staff of the Hirons Library at the College. Responsibilities of this part-time position include covering the Circulation Desk to assist users of print and online resources, developing Libguides, assisting in copy cataloguing, providing services, such as teaching information literacy, to graduate and undergraduate students, and supervising student aides.  Some weekend and evening hours will be required.  Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree, although a Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution is preferred, have one or more years of experience in an academic library in either technical or public services, and be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.  Excellent computer and communication skills, including excellent writing skills and Microsoft Access, are required as well as a strong background in customer service.  Interested candidates should send cover letter, resume and a completed GBC Employment Application to Russell Michalak, Head Librarian, at michalr@gbc.edu.
  Sports Information Specialist (Full Time)
     Goldey-Beacom College is seeking candidates for a full-time position as a Sports Information Specialist.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: administering all aspects of sports information, game-day statistics and record keeping; coordinating and maintaining the Athletic Department web-site; writing feature stories, athletic department operations; press/media releases, and establishing working relationships with the media.  The position will also include responsibilities for Athletic Department operations such as scheduling, transportation, game day management and billing.  Applicants are expected to have a strong background in computers with knowledge in STAT Crew, Adobe InDesign, Word, Excel and Outlook applications and strong communication abilities, including excellent writing skills.  A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a minimum of two years’ experience in creative writing, sports information, or related field.  Interested candidates should send a letter of interest, a resume, and a completed GBC Employment Application to Chuck Hammond, Director of Athletics, at hammond@gbc.edu or mail to Goldey-Beacom College.
