  Head Women's Volleyball Coach (Part Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applicants for a part-time Head Womenís Volleyball Coach position. Goldey-Beacom College is an NCAA Division II program with 11 intercollegiate teams, and is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.  

The candidate should possess the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to work within the assigned duties of the Womenís Volleyball program.  Attendance at practice sessions and availability for all competition dates is a high priority.  This is a part-time, non-benefitted position which requires organization and supervision of all aspects  of the Womenís Volleyball program including, but not limited to:

  • Recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success and the ability to relate to those student-athletes.
  • Compliance with NCAA, Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and Goldey-Beacom College rules and regulations.
    Practice planning and strength and conditioning coordination.
  • Fundraising and community engagement.
Qualifications:  A Bachelorís degree is required and two years of successful coaching experience or collegiate level competition is preferred.  Excellent computer and communication skills and a student-focused approach are required.

  Office Assistant for Campus Center (Part Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College is accepting applications for a part-time Office Assistant to work in its Campus Center.  The position is 26 hours per week and  is typically Monday through Friday with some Saturday coverage required.  Applicants should possess good organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance, and personable demeanor.  Applicants are expected to have a strong background in computers with knowledge is Word, Excel, and Outlook applications and strong communication abilities, including excellent writing skills.  A Bachelorís Degree is preferred.  Duties include processing incoming and outgoing mail, facilitating digital copying, serving patrons in the Campus Store, assisting the Campus Store Manager and providing customer service to the College Community.  Interested applicants should send a resume, letter of application, and a completed GBC Employment Application to Susan Mannering, Executive Director of Finance and Human Resources, Goldey-Beacom College, 4701 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, or to manners@gbc.edu.

   
   
  Security Officer (Part Time)
   

Goldey-Beacom College is accepting applications for part-time Security Officer positions.  Shifts include day, evening, and overnight hours.  Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driverís license. Candidates must have the ability to make rounds by foot consistently during the shift and lift at least 35 pounds when needed.  Applicants are expected to have a strong background in computers with knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications and strong communication abilities, including excellent writing skills.  A high school diploma is required and security experience is preferred.  Current Goldey-Beacom College students are ineligible for the position and need not apply.  Training and uniforms are provided.  Interested applicants should send a resume, letter of application, and a completed GBC Employment Application  to Michael DiEleuterio, Coordinator of Security, Goldey-Beacom College, dieleum@gbc.edu.
