This 9-credit Graduate Certificate in Leadership can benefit those individuals with a desire to learn more about leadership competencies and those professionals transitioning into team leadership positions. Students are prepared with the basic skills required in early- to mid-career leadership positions. Students explore leading change efforts in organizations and practice concepts and skills critical to effective leadership, self-leadership, and the role of leaders in managing strategy in organizations.
This certificate paired with the Graduate Certificate in Management comprises the 18-credit Graduate Management/Leadership Certificate.
Students must have already completed a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and submit additional documents to fulfill the graduate admissions requirements.
To earn conferral of the Leadership Certificate, students must earn a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and satisfy all course requirements.
