Temporary Licensed Clinician (leave coverage)

The Mental Health & Wellness Center (MHWC) at Goldey-Beacom College is seeking a licensed clinician to provide short-term leave coverage. This role involves delivering counseling services to a diverse college student population, supporting campus-wide mental health initiatives, and providing clinical supervision to graduate-level interns.

This is an in-person, hourly position with no clinical productivity minimums and no insurance credentialing required.

Key Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

 Direct Clinical and Support Services

  • Provide multiculturally responsive and trauma-informed counseling services to students within the MHWC scope of care
  • Conduct clinical assessments to develop preliminary diagnoses, treatment plans, and/or appropriate referrals
  • Respond to parent/family concerns related to student wellness, as appropriate regarding FERPA & HIPAA
  • Provide consultation to faculty, staff, and student services on psychological development and behavioral health
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using electronic health record and scheduling systems
  • Complete all required clinical and administrative documentation in accordance with professional and office standards

Administrative Responsibilities and Campus Engagement

  • Serve as an active and engaged member of the MHWC and Student Affairs team
  • Participate in weekly meetings, including:
    • Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT)
  • Provide a mental health and trauma-informed lens in campus-wide discussions related to student care and retention
  • Support student-centered events as requested by the Dean of Students

 Supervision

  • Provide clinical supervision for up to two master’s-level graduate interns, as applicable

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active, unrestricted licensure in the state of Delaware (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Experience working with individuals similar in age and development to college students
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Experience providing clinical supervision to graduate-level trainees
  • Background in college counseling or higher education settings
  • Experience with:
    • Crisis assessment and response
    • Brief therapy models and consultation
    • Diverse and underserved populations (including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, international, first-generation students, veterans)
    • Trauma, interpersonal violence, and sexual assault-related concerns
    • Neurodiversity and executive functioning challenges
    • Disordered eating and body image concerns
  • Familiarity with TherapyNotes or similar EHR systems
  • Familiarity with Blueprint-Health or similar feedback-informed treatment tools

Salary Range: $40 – $45 / hour

Lead Custodian

Goldey-Beacom College is seeking a confident and motivated individual to join the Facilities Department as a Lead Custodian. The holder of this position will support the Director of Facilities and Plant Operations by providing lead responsibilities during weekend and assigned shifts. Must be able to work weekends on a regular basis. The Lead Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all Goldey-Beacom College campus facilities.

Department: Facilities

Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.  Minimum of three years of experience in the custodial field. Supervision in the custodial field preferred.

Key Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • General custodial responsibilities, including but not limited to: scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash collection, etc.
  • Responsible for supervising, managing, and training all Maintenance Custodians.
  • Applies cleaning chemicals according to established safety procedures.
  • Adheres to safety measures for cleaning, lifting, moving and operating equipment.
  • Maintain a written custodial and housekeeping schedule.
  • Performs general custodial/preventative maintenance responsibilities, minor repairs and troubleshooting of equipment as circumstances require.
  • Work as a team to complete tasks when necessary.
  • Assures safety during inclement weather including shoveling, salting, providing slip protection on wet floors, etc.
  • Lead weekend custodial team.

 Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and climb a ladder. Lifting, pushing, pulling, standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, walking, talking, and hearing. Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal and scanning purposes.

Reports To:  Director of Facilities and Plant Operations

Hours per Week: 37.5 (Saturdays and Sundays are included in the standard workweek schedule)

Salary Range: $43,000 – $47,000

Communication Center Assistant

Goldey-Beacom College is seeking a new team member to work as a part-time Communication Center Assistant.  The holder of this position is responsible for handling copying and printing requests; processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages; and providing efficient, high-quality customer service. This role may include answering and directing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and assisting callers and guests by directing them to appropriate locations and resources.

Essential Functions:

Focus time, effort and energy on the following:

  • Provide support and assistance to the Communication Center Coordinator for all functions related to the Communication Center including copying, package tracking and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Ensure that the outgoing mail is processed at least once daily.
  • Lift up to 35 pounds as needed.

Assistant / Associate Professor of Counseling Education & Program Coordinator

Goldey-Beacom College invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling Education and Program Coordinator. We seek a visionary educator with a strong background in program development to lead and grow our master’s in counseling degree to become a CACREP accredited program. This position will serve as the designated program coordinator, providing year-round leadership for the counseling program in accordance with CACREP Standards, including oversight of curriculum, program evaluation, and accreditation processes.
