Advanced Statistics STA 327 TBA 10/19/26 - 12/13/26 3 Credits This course introduces students to advanced topics in statistics, with an emphasis on business and non-business applications. The course covers hypothesis testing, testing the difference between two means, regression analysis, nonparametric tests, analysis of variance, and forecasting. The course focuses on building strong statistical knowledge, analytical skills, and the applications of statistical concepts to business and non-business situations and to common occurrences in daily life. Applied Statistics for Business STA 655 TBA 06/08/26 - 07/30/26 3 Credits This course covers probability, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation, and simple and multiple regression analysis. Business applications are used to illustrate these concepts. The course requires familiarity with the statistical analysis package of MS Excel.
