Wilmington, DE – Goldey-Beacom College is proud to announce that the Goldey-Beacom College Magazine has once again been honored with an Award of Excellence from the 2025 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence.
This marks the second consecutive year since the College’s signature publication has been recognized for excellence in editorial content, design and overall communications impact. The award was received in the category Magazines, Journals & Tabloids – 1-2 Person-Produced, underscoring the high-quality standards that define the magazine.
The APEX Awards, now in their 37th year, celebrate outstanding business and nonprofit communications across a wide range of formats. In 2025, the competition received more than 1,100 entries, with only a select number earning Awards of Excellence.
“Winning this award two years in a row affirms our commitment to producing a publication that shares the accomplishments and stories of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends,” said Dr. Colleen Perry Keith, President of Goldey-Beacom College. “The magazine is an important voice for the College, connecting all of our stakeholders in meaningful ways.”
The Goldey-Beacom College Magazine serves as a comprehensive resource and storytelling platform for the College community, keeping readers informed and engaged with institutional milestones, academic and athletic achievements and opportunities for philanthropic impact.

Founded in 1886, Goldey-Beacom College has approximately 1,300 students enrolled from 29 states and 65 nations. The College offers 48-degree options in its graduate and undergraduate programs with majors in psychology, economics, criminal justice, communication & media, human services, English, and all areas of business, including accounting, business administration, entrepreneurship and finance.
The College began accepting students into three new degree programs in spring 2024: Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, Master of Science in Human Resource Management, and an MBA Major in Human Resource Management. The College also began offering fully online options for students in the following degree programs: MBA Analytical Track (STEM-designated), traditional MBA program concentration areas, and the MS in Human Resource Management. Additionally, the College offers 21 certificate programs.
The College is committed to connecting its graduates with careers in their respective fields. For over a decade, the College has achieved a 90% placement rate for graduates. Goldey-Beacom College is in Pike Creek Valley, a suburb of Wilmington, Delaware. The College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
