Goldey-Beacom College Hosts Two-Day Fall Career Fair and Networking Event

Wilmington, DE – Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) is hosting a two-day Fall Career Fair and Networking Event on October 18 and 19, 2022, each day from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Event Center on campus. GBC undergraduate and graduate students and alumni, as well as Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC) students, are invited to attend the event and meet employers in their fields of study.

“Participating in the Fall Career Fair and Networking Event gives our students and alumni a positive start to make meaningful connections with employers while taking advantage of their resume and networking guidance that will be helpful in the future,” said Beth Kirker, director of career services. She continued, “Meeting each employer is like a mini-interview and helps students and alumni build the confidence necessary to compete in today’s workforce. We are extremely proud of our students and alumni, many of whom receive on-the-spot interviews which often translate to employment. We know how hard they have worked to prepare for the Career Fair and Networking Event.”

Students and alumni can scan the QR code located at https://www.facebook.com/GoldeyBeacom to register on Handshake (alumni should use a personal email address) to see the list of participating employers.

More than 60 employers will be on campus to network and talk to students about careers in fields including accounting, insurance, mental health services, commercial banking and biotech. LinkedIn headshots will be provided to attendees.

The Fall Career Fair and Networking Event follows the College’s recent designation as a College of Distinction in the Career Development category.
