Wilmington, DE (07/29/2026) — Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) has received reaffirmation of accreditation for its business programs from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), recognizing the College’s continued commitment to academic excellence, student success, and continuous improvement. The reaffirmation was approved by the ACBSP Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners following its April 2026 meeting.
The accreditation reaffirms the quality of the College’s associate, bachelor’s and graduate business programs while supporting an ongoing commitment to strengthen assessment practices at the program level to further enhance student learning outcomes and academic excellence.
“ACBSP reaffirmation reflects the dedication of our faculty, staff and students to academic excellence,” said Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Joel Worden. “As we continue strengthening our assessment practices, we remain focused on delivering a business education that prepares graduates to succeed in the global economy.”
“Accreditation is a direct reflection of a college’s foundational health and is an indicator of campuswide success internally and externally,” said Assistant Professor of Business Dr. Scott Glenn. He offered congratulations to his colleagues saying, “Well done family! Well done.”
At the ACBSP Conference in Phoenix, Dr. Glenn joined educators and academic leaders from around the world in celebrating institutions committed to excellence in business education. He said the experience reinforced the value of accreditation and the College’s ongoing commitment to student success.
