The purpose of human resources management is to ensure that organizations achieve success through their people, and this program will prepare you to do exactly that. Courses focus on managing the human capital of organizations and implementing policies and procedures. Areas of study include leadership, law and ethics, staffing, compensation, labor relations, and training and development. Curriculum is this program is strategically aligned with the guidelines and competencies of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The program includes required HR internships that provide students with practical work experience in the field of HR, completing the knowledge gained throughout the required curriculum.
