Alumni Association

You are very important to us!

Each year, we say "good luck" to another class of graduates. But it's not "goodbye." Please use this form to report any personal or professional updates such as address or name change.

We look forward to hearing from you!

The Alumni Association represents over 13,000 living alumni of Goldey-Beacom College. The alumni board of Goldey-Beacom College is a group of committed graduates who meet quarterly to plan events and activities to support the College, its students, and its mission. In addition to holding fundraising events for scholarships, the Board honors exemplary graduates through their biennial Distinguished Alumni Gallery Dinner. They also host a Silent Auction, Alumni Night at the Blue Rocks and the "GBC Drives for Education" Golf Outing each year.

If you are interested in serving on this Board or any of its committees, contact Amy Diamond at (302) 225-6210.

Distinguished Alumni Gallery

The Distinguished Alumni Gallery recognizes Goldey-Beacom College alumni for their extraordinary life accomplishments. Alumni may be nominated throughout the year. An awards banquet is held every other year to recognize the new inductees. This is a biennial event with former Distinguished Alumni Gallery honorees, alumni, friends and College staff attending.

Nominate an Alumnus

Goldey-Beacom College is fortunate to have successful alumni in all walks of life. There are so many that we aren't always up-to-date on positions and accomplishments. That's where you come in. You can nominate a fellow Goldey-Beacom graduate for induction into the Distinguished Alumni Gallery, or to be recognized as a Rising Star. A third award, the Presidential Award, is chosen by the Presidents of the College and of the Alumni Board. You can see the criteria for all 3 here.

If you would like to nominate a graduate for this honor, please fill out a Nomination Form.

STAY GOLD CAMPAIGN:

DAG Reception DAG Wall

For decades, the numerous accolades and achievements of our Distinguished Alumni were housed in the annex of the Fulmer Center, where their framed photos have been yellowing and languishing for several years in a place where fellow alumni don't always necessarily know where to find them.

The GBC Alumni Association launched a new initiative to honor and preserve the legacies of these distinguished men and women. This initiative was called the Stay Gold Campaign, and its mission was to dramatically update the appearance of the gallery by transforming it into a digital design that many future generations of Bolts can access easily and appreciate. In addition, the Alumni Association moved the location of the gallery to a much more central location- the main wall of the Event Center lobby where it will have prime visibility. Many of you may recall the iconic pop culture phrase "stay gold" from the 1980's. It is derived from the motion picture based upon the novel "The Outsiders", written by author S.E. Hinton. In the novel and the movie, the phrase 'stay gold' serves as a reminder to cling tightly to that hour when you were at your finest, your purest, your best. For some of you, that hour may well have been during your years at Goldey-Beacom.

Through contributions to this campaign, the new gallery is now a reality! It is a way of preserving the legacy not just of our distinguished alumni featured in the gallery, but our entire alumni community.

Thanks to those who contributed for your support of Goldey-Beacom College and the GBC Alumni Association. Please know that your story is a fundamental piece of our legacy that we will seek to preserve and share for many decades to come.
