Dean of Enrollment and Marketing

Summary:

Goldey‑Beacom College invites applications for the position of Dean of Enrollment and Marketing, a senior administrative role that serves as the College’s chief strategist and senior leader for recruitment, student financial aid, and marketing. The position provides vision, leadership and accountability for achieving the College’s enrollment, net tuition revenue, and market positioning. The Dean develops and directs strategies to support the College’s long-term sustainability and growth. The Dean supervises the Directors of Admissions, Marketing and Financial Aid, ensuring alignment of departmental priorities and institutional goals established by the President and the Executive Leadership Team.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the College’s senior enrollment officer and principal advisor to the President regarding enrollment strategy, market position, prospective student demand, pricing strategy, and demographic trends.
  • Develop and recommend recruitment and revenue objectives that support the College’s strategic plan and financial sustainability.
  • Lead the integration of admissions, financial aid, and marketing, into a unified strategic framework that meets annual recruitment and net revenue goals.
  • Identify emerging risks and opportunities affecting enrollment and recommend strategic responses.
  • Lead transformational initiatives designed to enhance recruitment effectiveness and market competitiveness.
  • Provide strategic leadership toward measurable outcomes for Admissions, Marketing and Student Financial Aid.
  • Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and assist the President in strategic planning, decision making, crisis management, and communication.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, innovative, data-informed enrollment strategy for undergraduate, adult learning and graduate programs for both domestic and international students.
  • Advance sustainable enrollment growth while meeting net tuition revenue and student headcount goals.
  • Utilize market research and predictive analytics to inform recruitment strategies and territory management.
  • Utilize analytics and data to inform recruitment strategies, optimize marketing campaigns and assess financial aid effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in developing and proactively adjusting recruitment plans and strategies based on data analysis, review of application and enrollment trends and other metrics to effectively reach student enrollment and retention goals.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with at least eight years of experience in a related field.
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in admissions, enrollment management, student financial services or a related field in higher education.
  • Supervisory experience overseeing multiple staff and departments.
  • Knowledge of services, as well as state and federal regulations supporting a comprehensive recruitment, admissions and financial aid program.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the College’s philosophy of customer service, continuous improvement, and community engagement.

Salary Range: $135,000 – $155,000

Talent Acquisition and Development Coordinator

Summary:

Goldey-Beacom College is seeking a new team member to work as a part-time Talent Acquisition and Development Coordinator.  The holder of this staff position is responsible for supporting the recruitment process, managing candidate data and enhancing the overall candidate experience. The holder of this position will also assist in the development, implementation and administration of talent management initiatives including onboarding, employee development and performance management.

Department: Human Resources

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with two (2) years of relevant experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Ability:

Candidate must be attentive, focused, and goal-driven in ensuring that tasks are being completed, while maintaining application processes, training requirements, data entries, and other position-related responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

  1. Assist different departments within the College in recruiting suitable candidates for open positions.
  2. Facilitate and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  3. Collaborate with department supervisors to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  4. Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the College.
  5. Assist with job postings and advertisement processes.
  6. Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  7. Schedule and conduct interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  8. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  9. Attend and participate in HR events as needed.
  10. Assess and communicate employee feedback regarding needs and concerns, as appropriate, to promote community cohesion and improved culture.
  11. Coordinate and support all HR aspects of the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program, Clery and Biennial review.
  12. Lead the College’s participation in the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) surveys and the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) Human Resources survey.
  13. Establish annual training plan and coordinate all required employee training at the College, including training on Title IX, Clery Act, sexual harassment, and other topics overseen by this position.
  14. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultation with supervisors.
  15. Assist the Director of Human Resources in developing, initiating and maintaining effective training and development programs for employee retention, promotion and succession planning.
  16. Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects.

International Admissions Operations Specialist

Summary: The holder of this position is expected to assist with recruiting, retaining, and advising international students at Goldey-Beacom College.

Department: Admissions

Education/Experience: Associate degree plus minimum of two years’ experience in records management and/or a general administrative office environment.

Physical Requirements: Lift up to 25 pounds, as needed.

Essential Functions:

International Admissions Operations:

  • Process and review international application materials for completeness.
  • Manage document collection including transcripts, passports, financial documentation, and English proficiency materials.
  • Support I-20 preparation workflows and pre-processing activities.
  • Monitor incomplete applications and conduct follow-up outreach.
  • Maintain accurate student records within CRM and SIS platforms.

Student Communication and Support:

  • Respond to student inquires via email, phone, CRM, and messaging systems.
  • Provide front-line support regarding admissions requirements, application status, deposit steps, and onboarding support.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling.
  • Support and assist students through the application and admissions process.

Compliance and Administrative Support

  • Assist with the preparation and organization related to visa statuses and requests to or from USCIS.
  • Maintain organized electronic student files and audit-ready records.
  • Track required student documentation and compliance deadlines.
  • Support CPT/OPT intake workflows and document collection.
  • Assist with reporting, data entry, and operational audits.

Multimedia Production Coordinator

Summary:

The holder of this position is a creative storyteller responsible for the conceptualization, planning, production, and execution of Goldey-Beacom College’s photo, video, audio, and multimedia content for internal and external use. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will help communicate the College’s story through the images and voices of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and others in content that needs to adhere to best practices across several platforms, including print, digital, social media, advertising, web, video, and audio channels. As part of the College’s Institutional Advancement team, the Coordinator will work with fellow team members, internal clients, and vendors in the planning, development, and execution of work, while contributing creative ideas that support College marketing, enrollment, advertising, and storytelling goals.

Department: Institutional Advancement

Education/Experience:

  • Baccalaureate degree in a discipline related to the work of the department is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in video, photo, and multimedia production is required, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Experience with audio production, podcast editing, and digital advertising assets is preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and awareness of the differences between each is essential.
  • A proven record of success and experience in video and photo production is required, with demonstrated success in meeting goals.
  • The ability to project a strong positive image of the College through personal interaction with members of the college’s stakeholders is required.
  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills such as planning, setting deadlines, and evaluating progress is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others is required.
  • The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds is required.
  • Computer literacy, particularly related to editing software and Microsoft office products, is desired.
  • Technical knowledge of camera, lighting and audio equipment is required.

Effort: Occasionally required to lift and move boxes of materials and equipment weighing 25-50 pounds.

Other: The job requires a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, with routine hours of 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The position may require coverage of one to two evening student events per week as needed, with flexed hours as approved by the supervisor. The job may require travel and attendance at evening and/or weekend activities, meetings, events, seminars, and workshops.

 Essential Functions:

  • Cover College events and plan photoshoots as needed to support enrollment marketing, advertising, website, social media, and other institutional needs.
  • Shoot and edit still photographs, including touch-ups, color correction, and re-sizing.
  • Contribute to enrollment marketing and advertising content strategy by researching industry trends and content best practices.
  • Plan and coordinate pre-production activities, including location scouting, scheduling, talent coordination, permissions/releases, and coordination with planned College events and activities.
  • Plan and shoot a wide range of video styles, from short-form reels for social ads to one- to two-minute program promotions for use in website and educational content.
  • Perform video post-production tasks, which include reviewing footage, adjusting audio, making color corrections, adding music, graphics, photographs, animation, and editing.
  • Develop assets for streaming and digital advertising platforms, including Spotify, YouTube, YouTube Live, and other emerging channels.
  • Edit and produce podcast episodes and other audio content.
  • Maintain College video, photography, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Maintain GBC digital asset libraries and systems to enable College-wide collaboration and access to approved marketing resources.
  • Contribute creative multimedia ideas for social media and other marketing channels, particularly short-form video, while supporting the Director of Marketing overall strategy and priorities.

Assistant / Associate Professor of Counseling Education & Practicum Coordinator

Goldey-Beacom College invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling Education and Practicum Coordinator. This individual will teach psychology and counseling courses and coordinate practicum sites with supervisors, students, faculty, and staff. We seek an organized individual with a strong background in program counselor education and practicum site management.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the GBC faculty, you would:

Teach a 3/3 course load cross undergraduate and graduate programs in counseling and psychology, ensuring relevance and rigor across all content areas

Coordinate all practicum and internship experiences in accordance with CACREP Standards, including site development, supervisor liaising, and student support

Establish and maintain partnerships with industry to support internships, practicums, and other hands-on learning experiences for students

Participate in department and college assessment activities
